ROAD MAP

a)   The districts of Cuddalore, Perambalur, Madurai , Sivaganga and Nilgiris where identified child labour is less than 200, should aim to be child labour free by March 2004

b)   Villupuram, Thanjavur and Thiruvarur have 200 to 500 child labour.  These districts should aim to be child labour free by September 2004.

c)   Pudukottai, Kanniyakumari, Nagapattinam and Ramanathapuram have 700 to 100 child labour.  These districts should aim at eradication of child labour by December 2004.

d)   In the other 17 Districts (Sl. No.13 to 29)  child labour in hazardous occupations should be eradicated by March 2005 and in non-hazardous occupations by March 2007, utilizing the special projects sanctioned for these districts.
